My device id, if it's the right one I'm looking at, is: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DD1&SUBSYS_20471043&REV_A1

Now what? :P

Are you sure you did copy the modified inf into the Display.Driver folder? Check again and look into the inf

- it should have that 0DD1 in it (=GTX 460M). The subsys information is not used in modified infs.

Thanks for the replies!

Yes, I'm sure. I've tried to replace both the .inf in display.driver folder and the nvidia 280.19 root folder, still the same result.Still says no compatible hardware found.

I am at a loss here. My previous graphics card driver installations from laptopvideo2go have worked without a fuzz, but now something's amiss and I'm unsure what...

hi

Aza86

i was having the same problem i got the same laptop here is the driver you need

Nvidia Verde 280.26 WHQL driver (Vaio FZ, AR and AW) :

32-bit driver: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...ional-whql.exe

64-bit driver: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...ional-whql.exe

just install it directly

Extract the downloaded driver using 7-zip/ Uniextract. Now download the attached "Nvidia" zip file (see end of the guide), and extract the appropriate 32/ 64-bit "nvszc" inf file. Copy/ replace the "nvszc" inf file into "Display.Driver" folder of the extracted driver package. It is recommended to uninstall your current GPU driver and restart before installing the new driver. Disable any Antivirus software, and run the "setup" in the driver pack. In the Nvidia install screen, choose "Custom Install", uncheck "Nvidia Update", 3D Vision components, check "Physx system software" if you want Physx, check "Perform Clean install", and click next to continue. Ignore the Windows security warning to finish installing the driver, and restart as prompted.

This. Are the driver files not hosted here anymore?

Unfortunately most old stuff has been lost because of a hardware failure.
