Asus 1215N + XP and ION

Hello,

I'm yet another victim of pseudo-supported XP drivers.

Using a Asus 1215N laptop, due to bad compatibility of Win7 with my software, I have to use WinXP.

HardwareID: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A76&SUBSYS_84461043

I tried installing many different drivers, modifying INF files all to no avail.

- using a modified INF from this site I managed to install 198.05 drivers, but they won't work (can't turn on ION)

- tried modifying official XP supporting drivers from Nvidia website to accept 84461043 (they have 8447), but that ends up with BSOD on nv4_mini.dll

My question is simple - is there a way of getting ION to work on WinXP on this netbook?

I also heard of an option to set ION as primary display in BIOS (disable hybrid), but I never found how to do it on this laptop.

Any and all hints are very appreciated.
