Do you have a link for the download and inf ?

There's a hyper link in the first line?

Alternatively use the links provided here:

Official NVIDIA 285.79 Hotfix Display Driver Feedback Thread For Geforce Desktop/Notebook/ION GPUs Released 11/10/2011

btw NVIDIA added a file ListDevices.txt - maybe a service for us :lol1:

I have an alienware with the switched graphics that this verde driver supposedly doesnt support, I used a modded INF file to install the previous beta driver released for BF3.

this verde driver installed with no problems without a modded INF file, I was pleasantly supprised :)

if you have problems installing the 285.79 beta drivers, use the modified infs I attached below and put them in Display.Driver folder replacing existing files.

nvdm.inf

nvwi.inf

You may want to edit this line to reflect the newer version you modded in nvwi.inf and nvdm.inf :

DriverVer = 10/15/2011, 8.17.12.8562

Not sure why you even bothered with the nvwi.inf as you didn't update the version all you did was change the 'laptopvideo2go' to your name.

Remember to give credit where credit is due, make your own INF and take the credit.

i installed this driver now BF3 can only use Medium detail not Ultra like before on the 285.62. If I choose Ultra I get frame tearing and slow downs It reminds me of using a 3 year old card to try and run new games.

So much for the fixes for BF3.

I will be reinstalling the 285.62 Driver again.
