Changes in Version 276.28

The following sections list the important changes and the most common issues resolved

since driver version 276.14.

Windows Vista/Windows 7 32-bit Issues

* INF driver installation does not work if performed from a network location.

* When performing a silent installation of the graphics driver, the Windows 7 User

Account Control (UAC) message appears, defeating the silent install.

* Quadro FX 4000: Avid MC/DS–upload performance of certain textures is reduced by

50%.

* Quadro NVS series: The maximum resolution obtainable when using 8-display Mosaic

mode is 1600x1200.

Windows Vista/Windows 7 64-bit Issues

* User Account Control (UAC) messages appears when installing the graphics driver

using Windows Deployment Services with standard user rights.

* When performing a silent installation of the graphics driver, the Windows 7 User

Account Control (UAC) message appears, defeating the silent install.

* MDT 20120: When using MDT to install the display drivers, the inbox VGA driver is

installed instead.

* Vital Image: The executible names in the application profile needs to be updated.

* PTC Creo: Wireframe performance suffers when using VBOs for solid shading.

* TcVis: The applicaion experiences poor performance when antialiasing is enabled

along with advance transparency (Depth Peeling).

* Quadro 5000: HyperView: Animation frame rate is reduced by half.

* Quadro 4000: RemoteView: Tearing occurs on the non-primary display after switching

from monoscopic roam to stereo roam, then back to monoscopic roam.

* Quadro FX family: Vital Images: Poor download performance occurs using PBO's for

small 3D textures.

* Quadro FX 5800: RTT DeltaGen: NVIDIA G-sync does not work with affinity.

* Quadro FX 4800: OpenGL application crashes in glDrawRangeElements.

* Quadro FX 4800: TouchDesigner: When attached to an FBO for rendering, textures use

the process's virtual memory space.

* Quadro NVS series: The maximum resolution obtainable when using 8-display Mosaic

mode is 1600x1200.
