Catalyst 11.11

Recommended Posts

Dox

I am pleased to debut my modified mobility catalyst drivers. This release only supports Windows 7 x64 ONLY. The driver is packaged in an installer. Just run it and follow on screen instructions.

Whats Modified?

These drivers have been modified for higher performance with negligiable lost to image quality.

In addition to this it supports older ATI gpus and unlocks hidden settings in the control panel.

This releases also supports Switchable Graphics Technology. The switchable graphics require the correct modified driver + intel driver combination to work.

If you have ATI Single/Crossfire download link 1

If you have Switchable ATI + Intel express 4 series download link 2.

If you have Switchable ATI + Intel HD download link 3

Note

Before installing the Switchable Graphics please view the Switchable Graphics Install Guide

I'm getting the windows requires digitally signed drivers error. Read that doing the f8 thing at boot to disable signatures works, but I will have to do this every boot....

Any work arounds?

weird I dont get that at all. you can boot into test mode automatically each time you boot which means you can install unsigned drivers as a test,

run cmd.exe as admin and type:

Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

press enter and reboot,

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

Just tried this in cmd, restart, then tried clean install again of drivers. Got same error message.

Going to try again using the f8 disable to install drivers after a sweep.

I got a Q about 6470M is that one supported by your drivers? Also another q, my win7 home premium NEVER installs the ATI drivers by itself, read in your guide that it has to, any workaround?

Ty for your work and effort on this!

6470 is supported. What I mean in my guide is that let windows install the driver standard VGA driver by it self for intel and ati gpu. This is so that the ati installer will detect your cards and install properly.

Hi dox,

please your new drivers support graphics ATI 6310? My girlfriend has notebook lenovo s205 with cpu amd e350 with graphic amd radeon 6310.

Thanks for your reply.

And how it looks with your drivers for NVidia? I used on my old laptop MSI-GX600 with Geforce 8600MGT (512MB DDR2) yours drivers. And their performance was great. You did make in the past a very good job.

I would like to used your driver in my new laptop Acer Aspire 3830TG TimelineX (with cpu Intel i5-2410 with graphics Intel HD 3000 and GeForce GT 540m 1GB DDR3 Optimus)

Let's see if this fixes the slowdown issue I get when playing F.E.A.R... I'll update with my findings later.

UPDATE: I still get slowdowns in F.E.A.R. with my Mobility Radeon HD 4650 after about 10-15minutes of gameplay. (

How does one contact the Catalyst Driver Team?

UPDATE2: It seems that at some point F.E.A.R. just stops loading the GPU and uses software rendering... I have no idea whatsoever as to why...

Hey Dox,

nice to see you releasing an ATI version of your customized drivers :-)

I'd like to request support for the Fusion APUs, especially the Mobility Radeon HD 6310.

The driver isn't recognized in the current version, even though the hardware ID is included in the list.

Happy holidays everyone!
