mobilenvidia
Some folk may remember my new USB 3.0 HDD crash of Nov 2011. While this happened I had already begun my home server project to avoid what as about to happen. I've started a write up on my experiences in building my Home server. First Item and most important to keep data safe is the Drive controller. Of course not happy with Intel and certainly not the Marvell 9128 controller I looked around and found an IBM M1015 SAS/SATA controller. Now the whole project has been stalled as the Thailand floods have caused the Spindled Drive prices to become unrealistic. But this allowed me to do a heap of tinkering and testing.
