ExocrathX5 Posted January 7, 2012 Report Share Posted January 7, 2012 Long story short, i have installed XP and found no new compatible drivers [ran games like Mass effect 2 and Skyrim with 2007 original driver and it sucked, if i can call than running a game]. Then installed Vista with original drivers, but every game gave an error, then i have found out this site [after tons of searching on google and forums] along with `285.86_win7x32` driver, but it isn`t working well [sometimes even browser keeps lagging, not to mention games not working]. Searched for older drivers but almost every one i`ve come across only supported 8400GS or SE [and i wouldn`t like to mess with those]. So i would like to get some help from users who maybe had this kind of problem or know a solution to my problem, i would be utmost grateful ! Thanks in advance. anonymous1986 Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 If I recall correctly, sony vaio drivers cannot be updated through Nvidia's official drivers (some sort of condition sony has put in place).
