falconed Posted January 8, 2012 Report Share Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) hi, i still use my asus f3jc with 128mb go 7300 overclocked @450-750 [300-600] and i have no bucks to buy a new lappy however i just installed 198.05 modded driver from here i gained fps in games but some games crashed crash cause of overclock or new drive ? and last one why can't we install new drivers like 2xx.xx why editors add support for go series ? However they are not the laptop version but the desktop version with the modded inf file published here. I don't notice big fps gains only improvements like updates in game profiles, but i don't play much new games my overclocking profile is 500/800 with no problem, using an acer aspire 5634wlmi the go 7300 is already treated as legacy by nvidia, only the next series 8xxx is still getting drivers updates for laptops, the only recent exception was a driver update to add support for windows 7. maybe we get another official update when windows 8 is released...
