Vaneka
I have an HP DV8T 1000 laptop. I am trying to just download a driver update for the NVidia GeForce GT 230M graphics card I have but everytime I try, as it is about to finish the download, I get this error message: C:\Users\******\Desktop\301.42-notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exe could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Can anyone help with this issue? You'll have to explain it to me like I'm void of any IT expertise. Thank you!
mobilenvidia
Something is wrong with your temp/Internet files directory for it not to save. Try clearing the browser data and cookies etc in your browser.
Vaneka
Something is wrong with your temp/Internet files directory for it not to save. Try clearing the browser data and cookies etc in your browser. It was an issue with FireFox. I found instructions to fix it. I finally downloaded the graphics driver and INF and now I am go to go.
