namaiki
Are the Nvidia Forceware 263.08 / Intel 1994 from the Alienware/Dell M11x R1 still the latest official hybrid graphics drivers released by any company? Those are the drivers that I'm currently using on my Sony Vaio VPCZ1 (GeForce 330M / Intel HD Graphics), but they are getting a bit old. I'd prefer to look at "official" hybrid graphics drivers so I can try pick them apart myself. Edited June 7, 2012 by namaiki
coolguy16
Sony should be using one for their latest S series notebooks with Nvidia GT 640M LE/ Intel hybrid graphics. I don't see a driver in their support site.
namaiki
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=SVS151190X&LOC=3#/downloadTab I found these but haven't had a look yet. Drivers are separate so it might be Optimus drivers.
coolguy16
It's good to know that Sony didn't make the graphics, hybrid. Driver updates should be easy now.
namaiki
Yeah, good for them but not so much for those with hybrid graphics. I'm still hoping that Dell/Alienware will release a Windows 8 driver for the M11x R1. If anything, I think that they seem to be the most likely to do anything in the future.
