Hi Folks, am new here and need a new Driver (Win8 x64) for my HP Probook 4530s. I have the last HP Driver 6.10.6367.0 but this is not for Windows 8, ist an older Driver. Can someone help me to find a newer one (thats working with my IDT Chipset). Have tried most of the new one but None is working.

Heres my Hardware ID :

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76D1&SUBSYS_103C167C&REV_1002

and Win8 Shows me a second Device with :

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000

Hope someone can help me out.

I'm afraid you will have to contact HP support and ask if a Win8 compatible IDT HD audio driver will be made for your Probook 4530s laptop as currently there are no available Windows 8 driver downloads for that laptop. you may have to wait a while for HP to make one since Windows 8 has not yet been released to the general public until late October 2012. so far, Win8 final has been released only to MS Technet subscribers and computer manufacturers.

as for device ID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805&SUBSYS_80860101", this is most likely the Intel Display Audio device, which is separate from the IDT HD audio device. now this I can help you with. the Intel Display Audio drivers are bundled with the Intel HD Graphics drivers, so you must uninstall your current Intel HD graphics drivers from "Programs & Features" and reboot (your display will revert to VGA resolution when you do this).

Download and install this Intel HD Graphics test driver v15.28.5.64.2849 (9.17.10.2849) for Win7 & Win8 64bit edition, which will also install v6.14.00.3097 of the Intel Display Audio driver and is fully compatible with Win8.

I was happy to see this topic as I'm having almost the same issue. I have loaded the Win7 drivers, since that's the only way to get the Beats Audio to work, but I'm having a lot of problems with static and distortion when playing music for more than 5 minutes or so. I could go back to the drivers that Win8 installed initially to test.

Hardware IDs for IDT HD Audio

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76D9&SUBSYS_103C3387&REV_1001

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76D9&SUBSYS_103C3387

Hardware IDs for AMD HD Audio (I think these are OK as I have the Win8 Catalyst drivers installed)

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_1002&DEV_AA01&SUBSYS_00AA0100&REV_1002

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_1002&DEV_AA01&SUBSYS_00AA0100

Thanks!
