karrygun Posted December 30, 2012 Report Share Posted December 30, 2012 in the site of NVIDIA , have me suggered this site for resolve my problem with notebook. my 8600M gs crash too , but not always. the problems it's : - infinite cicle of the file nv4_disp - 6 mini desktop - general problem grafic - lover color . i think 256 (not always) - shutdown - block causes of problem: - installed driver non compatibily with xp pro sp3 - installed xp pro after formatting , but the acer aspire 5920G it was started with vista. i've try to uninstall driver of 8600gs , but i've always problem. i've try install the driver offered by NVIDIA , but i have always problem. i try uninstall all program NVIDIA with revo uninstaller free and reinstalling the driver by NVIDIA. i not wrong downloading the driver. i choose geforce 8600M gs for xp Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
