Vaio vgn-aw11s: Nvidia 9600m GT and Windows 8 pro

Hi to everyone!!!

 

i've a very big problem...

 

last day i formatted my laptop that is a Vaio vgn-aw11s with a NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT GPU

 

now i've installed windows 8 pro but i'm not able to find any grapics driver to install, i've recive always errors...

 

Anyone have any idea how to solve it?

 

PS: sorry if it's the wrong section and for my bad english :P

If you dont mind it not being the very latest, here are the last drivers to support your card

257.41 are the ones that worked for me and my vaio vgn with 8600m, birghtness controls did not work with the higher 259.47

i've try every driver in the first page with the rispective inf file but no ones works :'(

this is not for my model vgn-aw11s but for the model vgn-aw110n/h and are not up to date because the drivers are of the 2009...

there is only a little beat problem whene from the start screen go to desktop that some time i have to refresh to see it...

any idea for this little problem?

and whit this method http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/11997-have-disk-method-for-windows-7-vista/ but ant the end it says that this driver are not for my version of os... :impatient:

Dont use the INF file, the driver by default supports your model without the need to use INF and/or break WHQL

BTW after you install the driver you may want to install NVIDIA Guard Service Update

Also with the original inf file the drivers of laptop2go don't work... the installation doesn't end and give me an error :(
