This allows users to install the legacy non-GLVNDGLX client library in order to work around compatibility issues which may arise due to GLX applications which depend upon behaviors of the NVIDIAGLX client driver which are not defined by the Linux OpenGL ABIversion 1.0.Bydefault,nvidia-installerwillinstallthelegacy,non-GLVNDGLXclientlibraries.The--glvnd-glx-clientcommandlineoptioncanbeusedtooverridethedefault,andinstalltheGLVNDGLXclientlibrariesinstead.PleasecontactthevendorsofanyapplicationsthatarenotcompatiblewithGLVNDtoensurethattheirapplicationsbeupdatedforcompatibilitywithGLVND.ThepresenceofmultipleGLXclientlibrariesinthepackagehasimplicationsforrepackagersoftheNVIDIAdriver;seethelibGL.soentryinthe"InstalledComponents"chapteroftheREADMEfordetails.
