PURPOSE: Critical

EFFECTIVE DATE: May 27, 2016

FIXES:
- Fixes an issue which causes the display to become visually corrupted or to
flicker during heavy CPU usage after the system resumes from sleep or connected
standby mode.
- Fixes an issue which causes the display to become visually corrupted or to
flicker during heavy CPU usage after the modem resumes from standby mode.
- Fixes an issue which causes unintended noise to be heard from the system.

no Vulkan support

no obvious changes to OpenGL, at least not those recently discussed at Intel developer forum

What changes were discussed at Intel developer forum?

 

Major changes may come with the next driver stack (15.41 or whatever Intel will name it), but not for Broadwell I think.

Intel screwed some basic stuff in the GLSL compiler and claimed to have fixed it on 6th of May.

I'll check the next driver if they forgot Broadwell (which uses ig8icd*.dll, Skylake uses ig9icd*.dll)
