DELL XPS one A2010 FX770m upgrade

1 post in this topic

i have an old  DELL XPS one A2010 with an ATI HD2400 card inside a MXM slot and i was wondering if there is any possibility to upgrade to FX770m. I already have the card and trie it out but while turning on the computer i have the 30sec beep "mode :)" and afterwards the computer will boot up. Problem is that all the time the screen is black. I can log inside the computer using teamviewer and i see that the card is there, even though its down clocked, but its obviously compatible. My question is if there is any workaround how to make the card working? Is there the necessity to hack the system bios as well or its enough just the vbios? Iam already lost here and any help will be highly appreciated.
