Neo70
Strangely, this version did not work for me. Previous version 388.71 works fine (attached screenshot). Hardware ID's are there so I don't understand why it fails. Tried several times, including cleaning with DDU in safe mode. StefanG3D
Also no luck with mod. INF Windows installed 376.54 afterwards. Re-checked with logging as described at http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3171/ For some reason the installer searches 4 GPUs that obviously ain't inside my laptop. 4\nv_dispi.inf} 19:03:19.909 idb: Clearing active driver package 'nv_dispi.inf_amd64_07e87f2420c7bd44'. cpy: Unpublished 'oem10.inf'. ! inf: Legacy directive 'RegisterDlls' will be ignored. Now i got the next error in c:\NvidiaLogging\LOG.dbInstaller.exe.log DBInstaller(0) - ERROR: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs\nvdrsdb.bin" does not exist. Terminating install now!!! I unpacked and copied the nvdrsdb.bin file manually, then the installation succeeded. [DestinationDirs] nv_Drs_copyfiles = 16422,NVIDIA Corporation\Drs must read 12 instead I attached the edited INF for testing. nv_dispi.inf Edited January 24, 2018 by StefanG3D hopefully all fixed

ShankDaShiv27
Found a bug. After you install this driver don't not set screen projection to pc display. As soon as I move my laptop to a different room it no longer detected my laptop display. It detected it as an Analog Display and wouldn't turn on. Thankfully it still detected my Phillips Tv normally so I was able to DDU and reinstall on my laptop screen. If you have second screen keep the projection settings to display on 2. Well come to found out these drivers and including my laptop doesn't agree with UEFI boot mode. So I put it back to Legacy bios and reinstalled. Now my brightness is working and no black screens (yet). Fingers crossed that was the main problem.
