I was unable to post anything earlier because of work schedule change.

Driver 397.64 is r397_05-25, dated 05/07/2018
Driver 397.55 is r397_05-20, dated 05/03/2018
Driver 397.31 is r397_05-13, dated 04/22/2018

When you say "older", do you mean the Fermi GPU inside the Asus N53SV listed in your specs?

R396 requires Kepler and beyond.

I've added INF to 391.58

Try to install via have disk method as described in the FAQ section.
