Hello everyone,

I have successfully modded the .inf file in order to make the installation of driver. (v 399.24)

Although, the games doesn't recognize the GPU.

I've realized that the problem is the Section that i choose on .inf file.

Is there any way to figure out the correct Section Number?

You look to have done everything rigtht, Windows sees the GPU as a GTX 780M
What game are you trying to run ?
Is it an older game that may not recognise a 780 ?

The screen above is from Tomb Raider... That also happens on every game that I have installed such as Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor , etc.

It seems that they are running with Intel HD graphics. I also tried from Nvidia control panel to make this game run only with 780M but the result was the same..

So what happens - does it launch on Intel or drop to desktop?

Did you try to put the game exe to use Nvidia directly, not via the preferred high performance graphics? In my case high performance Nvidia is preferred but for some games it's not enough, I have to put the game exe to use Nvidia directly. Maybe your Intel driver has something to do with this problem, you could check if some newer driver does exist. No wonder Optimus has been dropped from the latest gaming laptops...

yes i have tied that and doesn't work.

When i was modding the .inf i select the Section064 just as other string with the Device ID 119F.

A few moments ago i installed again the drivers at Section068. After installation the games recognize the GPU but when the game stopped. So the problem was the Section Number..is there anyway to choose the correct section number at inf file?

Use the modded INF with drivers here
They have been modified already and should work (but not always)

You need both your PCI-_ID and SUBSYS numbers to mod the INF
SUBSYS will point to a section you need for your specific machine/GPU
I take it the GPU is not the original one as you are modding the INF
This can make things harder as there won't be a specific SUBSYS section in any INF

Start with barebones modded INF from here, then try sections from an AW INF

I suppose that's a Dell card.

Probably is, but I assume the Card has been added and the PCI_ID/SUBSYS is not recognised in any INF
May need to force the closest to what he has
