Guest UTNeflyte
This one's for you Teraphy.... Dusk! - UPDATED - March 11th - I kinda wanted to have a laptop come out of the water, above "Bring Dusk to life...", if anyone has an image as described we could possibly stick in there... just a thought. Thx UTN

Teraphy
Woowoo! Thanks! Look at the pixels on that pixie! :) :P nVision is just the name of the forum. Pieter is gracious enough to host it :)
mobilenvidia
I've put this up at the front door go and have a look. (squished down to 100kb) These piccies are getting better and better, can't keep up with them. Great work guys, this place is going to rock. Pieter. Teraphy
Just some thoughts: You could have it rotate everytime someone views/refreshes the frontpage. I really like the "bring your laptop to life with drivers" thought. Which got me thinking of a "then" and "now" picture. Perhaps pong on the left, and Dawn or Dusk on the right. Even the lizard that Miro F placed on the latest pic would do :)
Guest UTNeflyte
I did some changes to the "Dusk" picture (for update see page 2, last image), basically cropped here, shrunk there.. it gives a higher quality pic :) And here's my version of a before-after... Sorry, no pong :) UTN
Teraphy
Wow, much appreciated that you took time to make one, UTNeflyte. I have to say that one hits the spot for me. The eyes flow from the reading down to the bottom half. The bottom forces me to think a bit -- maybe I should upgrade :) Well done!
Guest UTNeflyte
Thanks, I?m having fun with these images! A good thing about the Before - After approach is you can always change the image on the notebooks screen for a subtle change: (lower half of pic) UTN
mobilenvidia
Yes UNTeflyte, The 2 froggies look really good as Teraphy says it draws you down the page. I'm quite keen on a white background as it matches the rest of the site. It's also simple and effective, I'll run it on the front in the next couple of days. But before we go any further you have add the GF2go, I couldn't (and Teraphy) not have it. The very first mobile GPU from nVidia. and the very GPU that runs this site and Forum. :) Pieter. Guest UTNeflyte
Here you go, added the chip that started it all. (above) I'll have to agree with you guys, the white background matches the current layout plus lowers the size of these files. But are you planning on keeping this current site layout moving forward? Or will you change the look to coincide with the new name laptopVideo2go.com? UTN
mobilenvidia
Cheers Matey, The website will stay simple (Text based) as it's easy to update. But it's good to have a nice front picture to lure the masses within. I'm not sure about the direction of the Forum, that's Teraphy's baby. I've got enough on my plate over here. What do you do for a living ? Webpage designing might be something for you. Thanks for your hard work and Micro F's as well, it's appreciated. Guest UTNeflyte
Hello, Thanks for all the votes out there. Looks like people enjoy the "larger then life" Dawn, hope they'll like the one below. Pieter, the reason I was asking about the website was simply because I have some extra time (working part-time right now; Internet Marketing), I think you said something like you don't want any help with your site, but if you ever change your mind let me know (I'm sure there's many people on here who wants to do the same)... it's all about helping the community plus a way to thank you for all the great work you've been doing. mobilenvidia
UTN, Did I say I didn't want help, I must have been fever struck. Any help is always appreciated. I would like to keep the site fairly simple (Text based) as it's fast no nonsense. Have a look at my links page, I've made the table invisible. What I was maybe thinking of doing is adding a water-mark in the background. With a table it's very a hard to get a full page picture to show behind it. Any Ideas ?? (I use Dreamweaver MX to make the pages) My skills are in modding web design is just learn as I go. Thanks for all your help so far, Pieter.
