Pippocarlot Posted November 23, 2020 Report Share Posted November 23, 2020 Hello everyone! I hope there is someone able to help me! I have a Hp 8570w with Dream Color monitor. I received a Radeon Pro WX4150M mxm gpu and wanted to upgrade my HP laptop which is now equipped with a fire pro m4000. Once the new gpu is inserted the card does not make the integrated monitor work on the laptop (it does not power it and the logo behind the screen does not light up) but it works correctly on external monitors. I read on the net that it could be a Bios problem as HP does not allow the update except with its own components. Someone managed to upgrade with nvidia cards but, I couldn't find anything with AMD.
