JayDee
Hello. I upgraded HP Elitebook 8740w from it basic ATI GPU. Fan worked properly with ATI, but with nVida M4000M doesn't. I upgraded system Bios and later on allso vBios from Dell manufacturer to HP. I profit snappier system Bios menue than with Dell manufacturer vBios but fan is still in one gear and never change. I tryed with reading EC chip (Embedded Controller) Read and Write registers. On other sistems like Lenovo you can read and manipulate Fan with app that use this two registers. On this HP sistem i can't do it. Any sugestions?
