StefanG3D
Contrary to the description, 6th generation Skylake support has been removed from the installer file iigd_dch.inf As reported at Intel and station-drivers Workaround: When you see the error screen "code 8", then go to c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\43ADC9DB8939A89770E98A89EB31E06ADE27BAE1\ (or whatever hex number the newest directory in package cache has). Backup the content somewhere, manually modify iigd_dch.inf and disable driver signatures. @Almighty1 Can you post the workaround at station-drivers? RSD_Adam
Quote Backup the content somewhere, manually modify iigd_dch.inf and disable driver signatures. How to do this exactly, can you explain a littlebit please? I found those signatures in the file and after deleted them still show the error code 8. Load iigd_dch.inf from the previous driver v2115 into a text editor (i prefer Notepad++) Update line 25 like this DriverVer=03/03/2023,31.0.101.2121 Save at the location where you stored the backup from v2121, ie overwrite the INF there Disable driver signatures as described here: https://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/32210-how-to-disable-driver-signatures-on-modern-rigs-with-secure-boot/ Go to the location where you stored the backup from v2121 Run installer.exe

I'm sure we can iron that out. But without Skylake powered rig i would have to do everything blindfolded. Sooner or later there will be another Skylake user who solves that. I suggest to watch a big community like https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/
