Mobile Modified INF vs. OEM INF

Recommended Posts

The OEM inf column shows the original inf that came with the driver package. The modified inf column shows the download location and version from Pieters modified INF.

As Dontknow said,

The OEM column is an orginal INF for a particular Make/model then I added the tweaks to it.

So it's only usable with the make model it's made for ie so far Dell and Toshiba.

I would only use these if normal INFs don't work, as they don't have all the goodies enabled.

Laptop OEM infs normally are very conservative in their settings.

My INFs use the same default settings as Desktops (no slow downs), I just enable things like Powermizer.

I'm just playing with certain ideas, if it popular I'll continue.
