Guest Roger Beck Posted March 13, 2004 Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 I installed 2K on the Dell 8200 instead of XP that came with it. The screen has only 2 low resolution choices and only at 16 bits. I downloaded and tried to install the Dell updated driver but when i do it says I need DirectX which can only be downloaded from Microsoft to the computer you need it on AND my modem doesnt work. How_can_I_do_this? I have never needed to download DirectX before, for anything. The 2K installation includes the update #4 if that makes any difference.
