ofelas
Available here - http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...ool/7657905.cab Thanks...if this gives good performance with the NV31/Quadro FX Go 700, I may give up my ATI Radeon Mobilty 9600 Pro Turbo ... Am I correct in assuming that the FX Go 5650 & Quadro FX Go 700 will perform identically with the same driver set or is there a clock/memory speed difference? Guest Scotch
Looks very good to me. My experience with the 54.01: - with Nvidia (unmodded, whql) .inf: benchmark performance a little slower than 53.03 (w/ Theraphy's .inf), 2591 instead of 2680 (3dMark03), resume from standby o.k. - with Pieter's 20.20 .inf: dramatic loss of performance, 3dmark03 1448, doesn't resume from standby - with Pieter's 20.22 .inf: good performance, still a little slower than 53.03, resume from standby o.k. It's hard to describe, but the driver has a very solid, crisp appearance to it. I'll keep using it with the 20.22 .inf, thank you Pieter. It's tempting to try the 56.55 or 56.64, now that Pieter has apparently figured out the resume from standby issue. i8600, Pentium M 1.7GHz, FXGo5650 128MB, 1MB RAM, 80GB HDD, 4x DVD+RW, 1400 WLAN. ofelas
How well does Battlefield Vietnam do with the FX6560 + 54.01? Thanks.

Still working on that...
Guest Scotch
Sorry, don't know about BFV, I don't play it. I there a demo I could try it with? Btw, the 3dmark03 score with the 20.22 .inf was 2575, with all performance settings set to "best quality". I run XP Pro SP1, WUXGA screen. One further comment: With the 54.01/ 20.22 .inf combination, the brightness resets to max upon every startup. No big deal, just a little annoying, never had that before with any other driver. ofelas
Thanks....so far I'm leaning towards keeping the ATI M10 for a little while longer instead of the Quadro FX Go 700...my ATI scores with 3DMark2003 are approx 2950, and Aquamark3 approx. 21.5, both benchmarks on the highest quality, all my usual apps running in the background. If only I had the extra $$$ to try the Quadro FX Go 1000... :) Am running XP_SP2_2096_RC1 + WUXGA.
