dualview question

hi there.

first of all a big thanks for providing all the stuff here...

yesterday finally my graphics driver crashed and i had to re-install, so i chose of the drivers from this page, and everything works fine now.

i even can use 16:9 screen resolution for my desktop, which could be nice for my external display.

it works quite fine, but i cant send the application windows to the other screen, i have to move it to the right where the external screen is placed. so it's kond of a span-view, not a dual view.

what i hoped to get, was a cool 16:9 resolution with the windows bar on the second screen.

if you have any ideas, please drop a note.

thanks.

gallo.

You'll be wanting to use nVidia's nView.

To get there do this:

Get your self any driver 56.5x or greater.

Right click on Desktop then 'nview properties'

then 'Desktops'

then make sure that the 'enable multiple Desktops' is checked.

then 'Options' here you can play with lots of settings.

And you should be away and laughing, the above applies to 56.5x and greater.

Hope this helps,

Pieter.
