mobilenvidia
Finally got round to making this page. On the website under "max speed', (the name for now till I find a better one.) All the instructions you need to setup your video for max performance. If I left anything out, tell me, I can always modify it. Enjoy, Pieter. Bill
I assume this is what you are talking about: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/pages/speed.htm The english on that page could use some work. For example, the second sentence there reads: Use these settings if playing in playing games Quality doesn't matter. If you can't spot the grammer mistakes there you need to wake up lol.It does look good though. Bill Edit: I see you changed it, its looking good. :) :)
Guest Doctorion
That's grammar not grammer lol :)
Bill
lol I always thought it was grammer(must be from living in Alabama :) ), anyway I never did say anything about his spelling, it looked good to me I think. Bill
Guest Doctorion
Not jumping on you, just funny to criticize a person for their grammar only to have someone else criticize the spelling lol! No worries! :)
Bill
I know, I also thought it was really funny, I was never that good at English, lol. I'm more of a math/science guy, I got a 100 average in advanced math in 9th grade, (last year) and like 99 or 98 in Biology, and a low A in English, and 100 in Advanced History(we got a lot of extra credit points). I might post a link to my report card if yall don't believe me. Anyway let's try to get this thread back on topic, I like the new pages Pieter, keep up the good work! :) Bill
LSudlow
Pieter, on your Performance Settings page you should also remind people to make sure they are in Single Display Mode and not Clone Mode. For some reason, Clone Mode is the installation default about half the time. If people don't notice it, their benchmarks will suffer. Don't you just hate seeing a benchmark suffer? :)
mobilenvidia
Yes, good point, I had forgoten about that my INFs no longer boot to anything other than single display. But my older ones might default to Clone (my very old INFs) It does make about a 10% difference. Cheers :)
mew905
cant remember how to find nvidia's driver version... Windows reads 6.7.4.2 and it's the latest dell FX Go5200 video driver. thx for any help EDIT: nevermind... lol looked through the dell driver install folder and found that it's 67.42... didnt think it'd be as easy as removing two dots...
