smax Posted August 21, 2004 Report Share Posted August 21, 2004 If the card isn't soldered onto the motherboard, you're going to have to find an exact match, and if your manufacurer doesn't sell or refurb them, you're basically out of luck. As the video cards are only for their machines, the rest of us have to put up with what came with our machines. BTW not all Dell video options will fit all Dell machines either, to complicate things further. If only we knew then what we know now, the benefit of hind site. Pieter.
