ofelas
Just installed the English language WHQL_56.72 + inf 20.26. Seems to work perfectly so far; no flickering at startup & menus open MUCH faster than Dell 53.82. Lid close/standby/hibernate/resume all work perfectly. Has the nView option available even when not connected to TV/Monitor - easier to setup S-video/Composite, I guess. Lost my dropdown selector for 39 workstation application-specific OpenGL settings - no big deal. Sideband addressing is disabled (Quadro NV31M default, I think) - what exactly does this do, and should I enable it? Will post benchmarks as soon as I finish working... Thanks, all who made this possible... ofelas
Got it. So for earlier drivers, nView was automatically visible in the display control panel when connected to a TV?
®®®
ja. ...and automatically disabled when no cable was hooked on/in.
mobilenvidia
Yes, it took some time to get to where I am today with nView displays settings. I'm now happy with how it works, I used to have the problem of driver booting to Clone mode when first installed. Now you can setup external monitor/TV/Projector with out it being attached, very handy for anybody doing presentations they can set every thing up before plugging in the TV/Monitor. Saves alot of time and fiddeling about. Enjoy, Pieter.
