These files appear to come from MSI (MicroStar Inc) and installs the MSI logo in the display properties by default.

Hehe, I might skip this version since Bill and others are saying 71.24 is due soon so one less reboot on my 24/7 machines.

Pieter, got a question... On your INFs, on my desktop machine, I noticed that the maximum system memory in the Direct3D section shows 128MB but the unmodified drivers will always show 255MB. Is this setting even used because when I hit F1 for help, it says it's only for PCI cards or AGP cards running in PCI mode. How does one get a AGP card to run in PCI mode?

Yep, I did for all the 70.xx drivers since I gotta support laptopvideo2go.com all the way... :) I guess in the 70.22 inf, you might need to modify it so it doesn't copy the files with the MSI in it's name as that's some control panel icon and probably deleting those files will make the driver even smaller in size.

MSI file, shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Apparently MSI had uploaded a crook version of this driver.

One of the help files was corrupt, I couldn't see any corrupt file by looking manually.

Will have to install and see if there is one.

Dontknow, I don't really look at what happens with the compression, as it's running in the back ground.

While it's compressing I'm updating the website and making the INFs etc.

I just press the 'any key' when needed and when done the screencloses.

I just check there arn't any errors before closing.

NFO attached.

We now need to make an automated forum thread that makes the new thread and chucks all the data in when the file has been uploaded.

BTW where should the modded INF be for it to be uploaded as well.

This driver has all the usual OEM INFs and the desktop INF as well.

I just attached the Desktop INF, I could zip all the OEM INFs if you like.

I need more intelligence in my brain to handle that quest. It's not possible now to integrate the modded INF in the upload process :)

I'm using the latest version Version I hope, v3.038

I get a new tab in the control panel 'tools' I don't remember seeing it before.

But I havn't had a chance to test any drivers since 67.02

In here it now has the TV not connecected bla bla and some other stuff.

I've removed the MSI control panel (3 files). :)

I couldn't get the error that was noticed with the lads @ nVNews. :)

MSI file, shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Apparently MSI had uploaded a crook version of this driver.

One of the help files was corrupt, I couldn't see any corrupt file by looking manually.

Will have to install and see if there is one.

Yeah, I heard the inf installs a bunch of files that has to be manually deleted when you uninstall the driver... Didn't know the help file was corrupted.

I can't get the MSI control panel to come up on my lappy.

There must be other software that calls the DLL's as the INF just copies them.

I also can't get the supposed error to comeup so must assume our version is OK.

I just attached the Desktop INF, I could zip all the OEM INFs if you like.
nvaoi v3.045 takes care of it :) it uploads all the INF(s) as ZIP package to the "original" INF folder on the server.

I just downloaded the driver from station driver, which is linked to the MSI server, but there is one help file broken (Traditinal Chinese Help file has a CRC error :) ).

You could copy the nvcpzht.cp_ from 71.20 to 71.22 :)

I think they haven't changed "help file content", just the file version number.

I've removed the MSI control panel (3 files).

What i figured from the 56.63 releases and also in 71.22 the additional MSI files are

I might just rip them out, seeing they don't work for me and others that havn't got MSI cards.

I might miss this in a hurry as it's in part of the INF that doesn't get modified.

I'll take care of the files in the INF so they don't get loaded, so NVIAO can just compress them to keep the driver original.

Once their loaded they can't be easily removed (ie installing a new driver means the MSI CP stays)

added it to the drivers section,

lately it's a pain to add more code to an existant thread as the board software produces some weird errors (empty lines) and the tags sometimes get confused(haven't figured yet why it does that, but obviously it's a BUG). At places where a SIZE tag was, is suddenly a COLOR tag or viceversa and the whole 'layout' of the page gets therefore confused. It takes more time to adjust the code correctly than to add the actual INFO for the driver :) I have to edit it at least 6 times :)
