Is the performance inf siginificantly faster than the normal mod? What about battery life and temperature with the performance infs? Are there any reports about this? Bill Posted February 12, 2005 Report Share Posted February 12, 2005 I would use the regular moddified INF if I were you. As far as battery life goes, neither INF should drain your power faster. With Mobilenvidia's INFs, he enables the powermizer page, which lets you adjust how fast your laptop graphics card runs on battery power, you can turn the speed down (underclocking it) and turn on other power saving options, and get maybe an entire extra hour worth of battery power, if all you plan to do is type word documents or play solytare for a few hours straight, otherwise, turn up the speed for games. :) When you get it, I can show you how to adjust it, and other power saving options. Anyway, there is this thread right here: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=6533 You should try some of the newer 67s and 7x.xx for speed and stuff, that 66.81 driver might also be good. I was about to ask what driver you were using, but realized we are in the 70.78 thread. *wacks head on desk* :) :) Like that guy in that thread said, the 71.20 driver runs it good, but I would not know myself, besides, my card is different from yours.
