I have found a possible fault with these drivers (although this may only apply to my Inspiron 9300).

Basically, when on the windows desktop, the card is actually running at Performance 3D speeds (290/590) instead of Standard 2D (125/332). I checked these using RivaTuner 20RC154. I have just gone back to 71.84 to check - clock speeds are now correct.

I'm not sure if this is the drivers or the fact that RivaTuner doesn't work...

It could be Rivatuner might need an update for the new drivers since it's last update.

Or it's just a driver problem, have you tried 76.41 it's safe for go6800's to use (Powermizer works)

ive downloaded what i believe to be all the necessary files, but when i try to install them, it gives me this error, "the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current harware, setup will now exit"

i have a FX5700go, on an HP zd7000laptop, a 3.06 P4 w/HT, 1 gig DDR Ram

i downed pieters INF file, can anyone offer anything, anything i may be doing wrong or just offer me a runthrough of the installation for the drivers, thanks in advance

Try a driver which comes with Pieter's mobile INF version higher than 30.74
