Guest Acura604
hi everyone.. i have the Geforce GO 6600 in my toshiba laptop with driver version 71.70 according to the 71.84 .. it is a driver for both mobile and desktop products.. BUT.. upon trying to install it.. it gives me an error similar to 'hardware not found'.. is there a proper way of installing this driver OR am i stuck with 71.70 until Toshiba releases a newer one? LSudlow
This is exactly why we're here. Download our modified inf, here, and put in in the folder where you extracted the 71.84 files, replacing the official inf file with ours. The installation should work fine after that, but let us know if you have any problems with it.

Guest Guest
UPDATE!!! RE: SILENT HUNTER III FREEZING PROBLEM SOLVED! it freezes when I have my external Microsoft keyboard and external Kensington mouse hooked up.. once disconnected, the game runs perfectly via the laptop's keyboard and touchpad.. how odd is that one?! mobilenvidia
I have heard that some drivers are having problems with external mouses. I have an external mouse all the time, but have not noticed any problems with this, might be other drivers involved as well. Probably an IRQ sharing problem with the PS/2 connector and video.
