Guest Kris Posted June 12, 2005 Report Share Posted June 12, 2005 (edited) I tried to install this driver on my laptop running the GeForce 6800 GO Ultra and I get this error: "The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit". What does this mean? I went to Nvidia's website and the latest driver there does the same thing. Any ideas? you can reach me at "krivel@optonline.net". Thanks. Guest Guest Posted June 12, 2005 Report Share Posted June 12, 2005 the driver which are published by nvidia are only for desktop cards. to get this driver working, replace the driver-information file with the for mobile cards moded on laptopvideo2go.com (http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=17097&index=0&mid=117). I own a Toshiba laptop with a GeForce Go FX 5200, 32 mb, i'm running GTA San Andreas. The game runs smoothly, but every time i try to get into advance video options, the game crashes. Bill Posted June 18, 2005 Report Share Posted June 18, 2005 All discussion of the Battlefield 2 demo/game should now be posted in this topic, if it is about this driver in particular, you could also just post here instead......... To the guest with the GTA problem, what driver are you runing or what drivers have you tried with this game? Have you tried re-installing the game? (after backing up your game saves of course) I don't think it is a hardware compatibiliy issue unless your card is actually damaged, which is unlikely unless you abuse/drop your laptop or do serious overclocking with liquid nitrogen......... :) You should run this tool and post the log file. http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=756 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
