Bill
Could you tell us what your device ID was. I myself don't know a whole lot about this, but like they always say, (other people here will definitely remind you) back up your old BIOS first before you upgrade. :) Anyway you could look here. http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/2-frequently-asked-questions/6 If I had the BIOS I would send it to you, but I don't. Unless somebody knows where to get the correct BIOS, you will probably just have to wait for somebody to send you one I guess. BTW, your English is pretty good. :) Welcome to the forums too! Guest SKiLLa
Ej hetanfc, Well, I got an Acer 1714SMi and it definitely has a Geforce 5700 Go 128 MB, and since your laptop is from the same 171x series, are you sure you got the 64 MB version ? BTW: My BIOS version is v4.36.20.33.02, I saw a post about a .33.09 version, but without a download link. Google can't help me either, so can anyone please confirm (and upload ?) this BIOS ? ... thanx
Guest ®®®
You need to contact the member who is listed with your desired version. Pls. make sure to tell the guy who dumps the VideoBIOS that the latest nvflash tool in DOS environment is used. Experiences show that other methods may fail or give improper BIOS file results. ®®® :)
