Makes for good reading for those wanting to give it a try. Keep in mind the registry settings are already applied in the modded INFs !! Also the example is a desktop GPU. I've havent tried auto-overclocking but I've noticed that if you select to manually overclock the card, the frequency throttling feature will no longer work as you'll be stuck with the core and memeory frequency you select. So even if you're just using Word or using IE, your video card will be running on a high frequency rather than the normal 2D frequency which is supposed to be lower.
