Athanis
Yes, I have now the video working fine using VMR, and switching to the last version of the BSP player. The CristalPlayer was not working too well. Now, if I can get the problem with the textures in Tiger Woods PGA 06 fixed (when drawing the holes, some textures are missing), I will be happy :)
terror_adagio
This drivers is very slow on my laptop, fujitsu-siemens m3438.In 3dmark05 the first test begins @5fps normal i get around 20fps. The first 3 reboots my screen went black and didnt get back I would install again. I have zero problems on my 6600 Go. Fastest set.

Drivers like 81.82 and 78.82 makes fps go really low. I have tried to install them with many alternative infs but no go. Any suggestions? :/ Atm I use 78.05 and they work perfectly. With 81.26 speed was really good but with some bugs in games.. Please dont say that I dont need to change a working driver. Its not that..I just would like to know what is the problem with some forceware sets.
SLoweCSL
:) Wow, thanks for the heads up and the work you guys did to get this driver out to us. Finally a driver release that gives back the performance lost after the 72.14 set, at least on my system. Thanks again. :)

Kamika007z
So it works for you? I know about those, my notebook works set to 3, but it could be different from driver to driver? Thanks
mobilenvidia
Mine is working just fine with my normal setting (3). Try 2 just to see if it makes a difference. Good luck these are good drivers.

Kamika007z
Setting the value to 2 did not work either. Something is wrong with my system, I believe it's something else that's the culprit. I will be formatting soon because my system has been running quirky and it's been needing a format as well. It's been a while. The last time I had this problem was due to NVTweak's "Improve Core System Performance" under Advanced Windows Tweaks, which actually removes paging of the kernel, which resuming from standby and hibernate is a side effect. (So says X-Setup, and it was true last time, but this time that is not the case). *EDIT: I was able to fix my issue. The value to my notebook has a value of 3 for the MapOSD3ToNV setting as I had suspected, however, the problem was due to an NVIDIA-based service which had been installed faulty and not starting up properly due to the NVIDIA Decoding program. The error was listed in my error logs as so: "The NVIDIA NDIS IO Control Driver service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified." The cause/resolution was submitted by a person named "jlibster" from http://forum.osnn.net/archive/index.php/t-56998.html stating: "Hi, I have an answer to get rid of what appears to be sloppy installation by Nvidia. The error is caused by a service entry in the registry (presumbly by the Nvidia DVD Decoder install as I didn't have this problem until I installed it) which you have to remove using either regedit or regedt32. Find the following entry and remove it entirely: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\NvNdis the error message will then disappear. If you get the error "can't find file" id DEFINETLY isn't doing anything for you. :-) Note this Nvidia DVD decoder is still beta. Suggest we avoid it until it isn't beta. ;-) Jonah A. Libster" Once I removed the entry, all is well now. Apparently it doesn't let the computer start up the service and let the computer resume from standby. :) Just thought I'd all let you know. Thanks :) /me can now put off a format for a little longer :P Edited October 4, 2005 by Kamika007z

Guest ShnikeJSB
I downloaded the Xtreme G version of these drivers, with the INF from here, and they are noticeable smoother, ESPECIALLY in the COD2 demo, as well as Far Cry. No specific benchies, but I can definitely tell. Though there is hitching in America's Army for some reason now. Every 7 seconds, without fail, there is a short half-second hitch. Weird. -JV
mobilenvidia
The actual driver will be the same, as TWRus modify their INF with performance/Quality settings. This may also cause some problems with Games as the driver may have ended up too performance tweaked. It looks like the GPU is running out of Texture memory or the Bus can't keep up. I don't add any performance tweaks, only tweaks that enable all the hidden goodies. Glad I was of some help with the INF.
Guest Guest
I need help, what should I do with the inf text? Im trying to install a driver but it says that I need the modded inf, ok I click on the Inf link and it takes me to a page full with code stuff. Am I doing something wrong or it means I have to do my own .inf with the codes? If so , which name should I put when Im saving the file?
