Guest Newbie
Sorry if this is off topic from the site, but a friend of mine and I both own Inspiron 9300's. We would like to connect them to make a DVD of home video, but are unsure of how to go about this. There is a lot of video so we would both like to rip the video at the same time and we are hoping that we could transfer the video faster to one another than recording it on just one laptop. Also we would like to try and play Call of Duty against each other? Thanks for any help and I think this is a stupid question, but thought I would ask. mobilenvidia
Use the LAN connection. If you have a LAN hub use this to hook the lapotps together. Laptop - hub - laptop with normal LAN cables. If you don't have a hub you can can get a cross-over cable (for back to back computers without a hub, a normal cable won't work) Plug these in and then setup your machines to talk to each other. This can be a little tricky, I think SP2 comes with a wizard, but I havn't tested this. You can now share files, internet, play multiplayer games etc. Enjoy
