Guest Riptide
OK I know this isn't a laptop but I'm not sure what else to do or where to go for help here. I have problems with my desktop and the Nvidia 81.xx forceware release. I get lockups and blue screens. Going back to 78.03 cures the problem for me. I am running XP64. Right now I have a new GTX512 on the way - but it will most likely want newer drivers to function. These newer drivers stand a good chance of having the same problem that the 81.85 did on my system. Is it possible to somehow "force" or modify in some way the 78.03 driver package so it will function with my new GTX512? THANKS
alexandertyler
Are you sure you have your BIOS setup correctly for your graphics card? Don't worry, but the 512MB GTX should love the newly released 81.94 drivers. Download the official drivers from Nvidia and you should have no problems. Double check all of your graphics BIOS settings! -- Alex
