Guest lov2xlr8
I recently bought two one gigs sticks of OcZ DDR2 4200 for my Inspiron 9300, however I checked and my laptop is running DDR2 4300. The stock dell sticks have a Cas of 5-4-4-12 while the OcZ is 4-4-4-8. You think the 4200 is going to run any slower? Im thinking that the fast timings will more than make up for it. I had two 512 mb sticks of the Dell DDR2-4300. Im just wondering if the slower ram is going to take my memory clock speed down. I've got a Pentium-M 1.86Ghz Dothan core @ 533fsb. -Thanks.
