Guest ThomasColeman Posted November 29, 2005 Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 I have a GeForce 7800GTX i was running windows XP with driver Version: 81.95, i then formatted and installed media center and installed the Media center driver Version: 77.79. The confusing part is is the driver older ? i dont want to run media center with an old driver as it doesnt list that it supports HDTV/COD2/Quake 4 if you look at the descriptions for both drivers. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxpmce_77.79.html http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.95.html If you look at the descriptions the 81 driver seems to support more. I dont want to have media center installed if it is going to hold me back by having a crappy old driver installed.
