mobilenvidia
Found this snippet over at Softpedia Alienware launched the Sentia m3200 laptop. For those who don't know, Alienware manufactures those computers with that ?nice? alien face on them. The new Sentia m3200 laptop is designed for users that value portability and weighs only 2 kg. Interesting about this new laptop is the ?Instant On? feature. With the ?Instant On? functionality you can access right away your music, videos, digital photos and other multimedia content without losing much of the notebook's battery life. This feature works because you instantly boot into a multimedia interface by pushing the ?Instant On? button while the system is off. This bypasses the Windows loading process on the laptop and provides a dedicated environment for multimedia functions without draining the battery. Saving a few minutes while Windows boots is certainly an interesting feature. The Sentia m3200 laptop has a 12.1 inch widescreen LCD that features the ClearView technology. Alienware claims that the new laptop offers up to 4 hours of battery life. Also, for multimedia enjoyment you have a built in 4 in 1 media card reader and for full wireless freedom you get 802.11a/b/g wireless support. If you want this new laptop you can go to the Alienware website and get it for US$1000.
