PaulK Posted December 14, 2005 Report Share Posted December 14, 2005 I am not able to adjust the brightness level of my backlight both in the bios and with Fn+"up/down". here is my hardware specs I8200 2.4Ghz P4-M 1.25GB RAM 80GB HDD GF4 440 Go 32MB 15" UXGA Screen Forceware 82.10 anyone know what would cause this? If yes, report the problem to Dell, you'll most likely get your screen replaced (happened to me once). Is this a new problem for you, or since when did it appear? PaulK Posted April 21, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 I have the UXGA lcd and GF4 440 Go 32MB with Bios 4.17.00.55.C2. Previously had bios C1 but newer bios made no difference.
