norem Posted January 18, 2006 Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 Hi as stated im running a Toshiba Satelite 1955-S805 with a Geforce4 440go 32mb, with 512ram. I have been searching this site and would like to know the best drivers that people are using for this exact laptop, or a model very similar? Im kind of a nub at this kind of stuff, so which driver should i download and install? Im still using the driver from 2002! Thankyou in advance. Bill Posted January 18, 2006 Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 You should try one of the drivers listed in my driver recommend thread (click link in sig), or try the 77.77 driver. If you get a black bar go here. http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/enhancer And have it spit an INF out with the black bar fix for your screen resolution. Also with a driver that old if you have problems uninstall it first then install the new one, but you should be able to do a straight upgrade. Oh, and you only needed to make one topic, not 2...
