I have a Toshiba satellite laptop with a GeForce 4 460 GO card and i can't find good recent drivers for my card. Can someone tell me what i should get and how i should proceed? mobilenvidia Posted February 26, 2006 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2006 You GPU is old, plain truth. The 50's is probably the last time Toshiba updated it. You should be able to use any driver you see here including this one. You will need a modded INF though as these newer Toshiba driver don't support older GPU's Have a look in the FAQ on How to's If have the black bar problem that quite a few Toshiba's have then pop on over to enhancer and add the fix. Paradox Posted March 19, 2006 Report Share Posted March 19, 2006 Hey All, Im just wondering... I have a Toshiba Satellite M60 with a GF 6600 128mb GPU /w a Centrino 1.86ghz set. Anyway, I currently have the 78.82 Toshiba drivers downloaded from this site. It works really well. A month or two ago, I tried some of the 80 Toshiba (from this site as well) series and some of them didn't work some did. I forgot which ones they were.. but the ones that worked didn't yield results as good as the 78.82 series. It sounds like this driver will help with cranking out some FPS for my games :) soo... my question is... would this work for my laptop? Thanks for the help in advance...!!!! Guest phill Posted April 2, 2006 Report Share Posted April 2, 2006 They'll work fine with the modded inf, but as someone with a Toshiba M40 w/ 128mb 6600 Go I haven't had better performance (sometimes worse) with the 83.xx+, always I end up back with an 82.xx series driver.
