Y2BuToNz
Hey guys, got a different question for you...umm when im gaming using my m170 i notice that i cant press more than 2buttons at a time. Which is extremely annoying in games like NFS:MW when i might need to press the NOS button while going round a corner. Any body got any idea howto change that? I know most comps allow 3 at a time, even that wud do me. :) Thanks for any replies!
Bill
I have never heard of that issue, do you have all the latest updates for your system? Replacing keyboard and/or drivers could possible fix this, otherwise I would suggest something like this while gaming. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage...oduct_Id=157024 But, can you press control+alt+delete? If that works then the game is doing something fishy. I suspect it is a software issue with the game or maybe DX.
Jeroen
I think I know what he is meaning. I have kind of the same problem In example: you cant press CTRL and arrow UP en LEFT together arrow up to accelerate (in NFS), left to turn left, and control to put some nitro in it. I don't think there is anything you can do about it except for changing your keys. for me it worked, but I mostly play with a gamepad (IF I play games ... :) )
Y2BuToNz
I can press CTRL + ALT + DELETE but i part get this problem when typing in say notepad for example, i say press S+T then try pressing the 3rd button which doesnt always work but works on selected keys for example I and O but not say perhaps M. :) But this also happens when im playing CS:S, when holding W+D to move in that direction i try and reload while moving and the same issue accures, been playing the Crashday demo aswell for the last couple of days and i cant fire missiles (N button) while moving forward and turning. Which doesnt help me remapping keys when they are all not special keys (I.E. CTRL, ALT, SHIFT) to start with, doesnt seem to matter what buttons they are i cant ever press more than 2 :)
Jeroen
Strange! I know you can't always press 3 buttons or more but Forward, Turn and N should work. Have you tried a format or something? also: do you always had this problem ?
Y2BuToNz
Always had it, its actually Forward + Left + Alt :) why?!
Jeroen
I think it's normal you can't press three buttons at the same time. I've downloaded TrackMania Nations and there I also can't push 3 buttons. I don't think there is anything you can do about it... so my advice is: buy a gamepad :)
Bill
I believe on my keyboard I can press 3 buttons at once, you guys might have gotten screwed over, this will require some investigation.
Jeroen
It depends on what keys you press. Don't know which one that are in TMn for example I cant press UP + LEFT + H (horn) at once, don't know with other things. Don't think this is a bug in Windows / the game or something, just something you can't change. I think some other 3button combinations should work, it is on you to find out which those are! BTW: if the 3button combination shouldn't work, you wouldn't be able to pres CTRL + ALT + DEL :)
