Guest DannyMol
I bought a Sony FE11S which is supplied with Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 video card. Now I have installed Windows 2000 Server as a second operating system. Then I downloaded Version 84.60 for WinXP and updated the driver. But I still get a resolution with only 800x600 with 16 colours. How do I choose the right driver version (is the latest the newest and best?) and how do I choose the right INF-version for Windows 2000? Thanks in advance Danny

Bill
The latest isn't always the best. (latest are usually beta too) I would recommend the 81.98 driver with Pieter's mod INF, or wait till nvidia comes out with a new official version. You guys can click the driver recommend link in my sig for the driver and install instructions. I would recommend that you guys uninstall your drivers first and maybe run a driver cleaner before you install. Even if it boots up at 800x600 (but otherwise works fine) you can go into the nvidia control panel and go to the resolutions page and uncheck the "hide resolutions that this monitor does not support" box then select your desktop res.
