Guest TheMonk
Does this version allow access to the SmartDimmer feature? I'm using 83.40 atm and I have have access to the powermizer battery slider settings but no SmartDimmer access. Previously used 81.94 off the Nvidia site and they were pretty aweful. A lot of settings were hidden.

Guest Guest
I had to roll back to 82.12 because Zend Studio refused to work and crashed permanently with 83.90 ... Some work has to be done before starting a game, so I had no choice ... :-(
mattman
BF2 crashes out for me.. think it's the drivers (there's been recent patches too though) so will have a play around with other drivers and see what happens.
Guest Guest
So how do we download these drivers? It just gives me a white page with an address string when I try to DL this thing.

Guest BurnerHEAD
I think they mean the download link on the main page and not the one on forum. Main page download link: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/nvidia/80series/8390.exe ==> this has to change to forums download link: http://download.laptopvideo2go.com/nvidia/80series/8390.exe MFG BurnerHEAD I'm getting this error: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?drivers 217.250.170.119 /nvidia/80series/8390.exe www.laptopvideo2go.com Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; de) Opera 8.50

mobilenvidia
It's working just fine for me, the above should be used with the driver. Very odd. Do any other INF links for you ?
sonics6
Tried the 83.60 inf as well tht didnt work makes me think there is something wrong with laptop. But when i clicked on 'enhancer' and then chose '83.90' and 'quality' tht worked. ive installed the driver now did i do the right thing? mobilenvidia
Hmmm, if the quality INF works then the normal INF should also work as the Quality bits are added to the normal INF.
Guest Guest
Hello all, I've used this driver for several weeks now and I think it's very good. The only "glitch" I've noticed is the cursor is fine on all sides of my screen (stops right on the edge), but on the right side it will go off screen for as long as you can drag it (as far as I can tell) and several programs that open in the middle of the screen by default, are now opening way off screen to the right. My system is Toshiba 5205-s705, 1600x1200, FX Go 5600. Not complaining, just fyi JP
®®®
Well, this sounds like DualView or Clone mode is active. Switching in the NV Control Panel back to Single Mode is turning your cursor behaviour to 'normal' :)
4nortons
Anyone try these out on an HP zd7000 Media Center system? Mine has the GO5600 card and I'd like to find a good, working driver version. Thanks, Scott
