n4v1n Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 I have a toshiba g-25 which has 2 hdd bays. I want to buy two new hdd's with more capacity and replace them. If I do this, can i use the same system restore disk that came with the machine to install the OS and everything or would i have to buy a full copy of win xp? ®®® Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 Yes. No need of buying (though a fresh and clean install is recommended over RestoreCDs). I suggest for the system Restore CD Operating System installation to have present only install the Primary HD to prevent eventually confusion. After that you can add the secondary HD.
